Program Overview

SDGC's Affiliates Program allows members, as either Strategic Affiliates or General Affiliates, to receive special privileges and be recognized as world leaders in corporate responsibility and citizenship.

Our Affiliates Program is an attractive way for corporations to support the center's mission while gaining knowledge about sustainable development practices. As an affiliate, corporations will have access to resources produced by SDGC, and Stanford researchers.

Prospective SDGC affiliates are encouraged to review the Stanford University Policies Affecting Industrial Affiliates Program Memberships.


Affiliate Benefits

Support our program's ability to reach out to and communicate with corporate leaders so that they may align environmental sustainability principles with their strategies and business practices. Your contribution in support of the Center will help us organize programs and activities that enable SDGC Fellows to participate, and attract key business leaders.

Strategic Affiliates

International Towns Federation The International Towns Federation is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Palo Alto, California USA committed to fostering global sustainable development through closer collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and investment in small cities and towns.  Specific efforts by ITF to support this mission include the global cities and towns “happiness index” evaluation rubric and listing of the global top 100 happiest towns annually, promotion of a “sister towns” program for interested towns around the world, training programs for city and town designers, builders, and managers, and a towns-focused investment fund in partnership with industry. In collabration with SDGC, ongoing research is focused on Sustainable Urban Development. A joint Declaration was published in February 2020.
CECEP Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd.  CECEP is a centrally-administered state-owned enterprise specializing in energy efficiency and environmental protection. It is a flagship enterprise in China’s energy and environment industry and an industry leader in the fields of solid waste treatment, water pollution prevention and control, air pollution prevention and control, soil remediation, clean energy development and utilization, health industry, industrial energy saving, architectural energy saving, and environmentally-friendly new materials. In collabration with SDGC, ongoing research is focused on Sustainable Urban Development and Green Technologies.
Shanghai Wanye Enterprises Shanghai Wanye Enterprises Co., Ltd. develops and manages real estate and hotels. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also provides travel services, organizes exhibitions and conferences, and manages golf courses. In collabration with SDGC, ongoing research is focused on Sustainable Urban Development and Green Real Estate Industry.
Lungtin Intellectual Property Founded in 1994, the company is one of the first Chinese intellectual property firms approved by the government to represent international clients in China, is headquartered in Beijing with branch offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Shenyang, Xiamen, Osaka, and New York. Since its establishment, Lung Tin has grown into a prominent full service IP firm, having a network of strategic alliances worldwide to provide clients with global IP services. In collabration with SDGC, ongoing research is focused on Corporate Innovation.
Futton, Inc Established in 1987, with offices in both China and the U.S., Futton is in collabration with SDGC on research workshops with participants from China.
China Environmental City Management China Environmental City Management is a susidiary of Guangdong Haiying Group. The company is focusing on sustainable regional real estate development, environment protection, and smart town development. In collabration with SDGC, ongoing research is focused on the sustainable development of small towns.
