Ting Wang

Wang Ting, Associate Professor in the School of Business at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing (CUPL, arrived at Stanford Universityin May 2013 for a one-year visit as a CSDGC Visiting Scholar.. He conducts academic research and case studies in the field of cross-culture learning behavior, cultivation of multi-disciplinary talents, and the turnover behavior of new generation employees.

At CUPL, Ting serves as the Director of the Research Center for Human Resource Development and Management, the Associate Director of MBA Education, and Director of the IVEY-CUPLBS Joint Program (EMBA, EE). He has also been involved as a Principal Investigator in various national, provincial and ministerial level research projects.

Ting graduated from Renmin University of China (RUC) where he obtained Bachelor, Master and Ph.D degrees in Management. Then he continued with postdoctoral work in economics at the School of Labor and Human Resources at RUC.

He engages in teaching, research and management training in the fields of human resources, organizational behavior, employment strategy and employment ability. His management consulting projects have been with Sinopec, China Telecom, and Hi-Tech Wealth China, among others.

In 2012, he received an award from the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China, and another from the Excellent Case Study Competition held by the MBA Institution of the Ministry of Education of China.
