Joshua Koo is a research intern at the Stanford Center for Sustainable Development and Global Competitiveness and the Stanford Center at the Incheon Global Campus.  Joshua's research interests focus on understanding the underlying technological and social mechanisms for the meteoric rise in global popularity of Korean music.  Applying Grounded Theory and Data Science research methods, he is building a comprehensive model to better understand these phenomena and ultimately accelerate the global spread and popularity of Korean culture, media, technology, and society.  Joshua is currently a student at The Neuva School in San Mateo, California USA.
